ARUN SAHA, Ph.D., is a software engineer and computer scientist at Cisco with 20 years of experience in building complex systems, mostly in networking and storage space. Most recently, he has been working on building the controllers for the software-defined networks, both in the data center and the cloud. Previous employers include Nutanix, AMD, and Fujitsu. Passionate about high-quality software engineering, Saha loves writing, mentoring, and teaching. He holds a doctorate in Computer Science from UC Riverside, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, India.
