ASHKAN HASHEMI, Ph.D., is a signal/power integrity engineer at Amazon. He has more than a dozen years of experience in electronics design with expertise in microwave, RF design, and system-level signal/power integrity co-analysis of FPGA products as well as consumer electronics. Previously, he was an FPGA/SoC design engineer with the Programmable Solution Group at Intel. He holds a master’s degree in FPGA design from Mid Sweden University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He started teaching at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension in 2020.
