DAVID WACHENSCHWANZ, M.S. ECE, senior associate at SmartOrg, has more than 20 years of experience developing and integrating components, sensors, hardware and firmware in the data storage industry. Previously he worked for Western Digital, HDD Recording Subsystems, and Media New Product Design & Integration and then was a technologist and chief development engineer in his own consulting firm. Recently, David has been focusing on IoT and embedded systems where he enjoys bridging the physical world with the cyber world. He has 16 issued U.S. patents and has published dozens of refereed technical papers. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
