NIRANJAN MAHARAJH, MS, is director of engineering at Johnson & Johnson MedTech where he is working on digital solutions for the hospital operating room. He has a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He has won several professional honors in previous positions including the Covidien Patient Monitoring World Class Leadership Recognition Award and the Covidien Innovation Award. He is listed as an author on seven patents.
