RAJ JASWA, M.B.A., M.S., an accomplished serial technology entrepreneur, teaches engineering entrepreneurship at IIT Bombay, IIT Gandhinagar, VNIT Nagpur, and TiE Silicon Valley. Previously he served as CEO and chairman of Dyyno, a communication platform for audio, video, text, graphics and voice for live, interactive instant, and as co-founding CEO and chairman of Selectica, a configuration software vendor sharing company that became listed as a Fortune 500 company during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he cofounded Opti where he worked as head of sales and marketing as well as president as the company grew to become the world’s largest supplier of PC chipsets. He also worked for Intel, General Electric, and Chips & Technologies. In the midst of his career, Jaswa opted to volunteer full time for TiE Silicon Valley, serving as director, then president and trustee of the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to helping entrepreneurs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Stetson University.
