IRENE VARGAS, M.A., is a seasoned Head Start Preschool Teacher at the Santa Clara County Office of Education with an 18-year dedication to early childhood education. Her expertise spans infants through school-age children. As a holder of both Child Development Site Supervision and Program Director permits, she is a certified mentor for the California Early Childhood Mentor Program (CECMP). She has over six years of experience guiding future educators from Gavilan College, San Jose State University, and Mission College, Vargas is committed to professional development, currently pursuing a multi-subject teaching credential. Collaborating closely with families, teaching staff, and program administrators, she is instrumental in delivering exceptional early childhood education.
