VENKATA DUVVURI, MBA, Ph.D., is a founder of SiriusMindshare Lab, an AI application research company, as well as a senior director of data science at Oracle Corp. He is a results-oriented data science, business, web and marketing analytics leader and has over 12 years of experience in data science, business analytics, digital media analytics and web marketing optimization with internationally recognized corporations. Additionally he has 10 years of software engineering experience. His management experience involves domestic and offshore teams and includes leadership experience as a director at Fortune 100 companies including marketing agencies. A cross-functional leader and subject matter expert in machine learning, Duvvuri has leveraged deep learning, spark MLIB and Tensorflow operating on big data to improve ad performance to the tune of $10 million at Unity Technologies and $7 million at Oracle. He has driven improvements in business and online marketing outcomes valued at several million dollars at eBay (Triad Retail Media), Conversant (Alliance Data), AT&T (Cricket Wireless) and Science from University of Massachusetts – Amherst, an MBA from UC Davis, and a doctorate in Technology from Purdue University. He serves on the advisory alumni board at Graduate School of Management at UC Davis.

  This class meets simultaneously in a classroom and remotely via Zoom. Students are expected to attend and participate in the course, either in-person or remotely, during the days and times that are specified on the course schedule. Students attending remotely are also strongly encouraged to have their cameras on to get the most out of the remote learning experience. Students attending the class in-person are expected to bring a laptop to each class meeting.
