Every day is Giving Day.
Your generosity directly supports our students.
Although the annual UCSC Giving Day is over, we are continuing to accept donations for our two initiatives which directly benefit student and campus projects.
- The new AI GPU Server fund will serve all of our students who are using technology in their courses—pretty much everyone!
- The Scholarship Drive provides tuition for our students in the Premed Postbacc program.

UC Santa Cruz Premed Postbacc Central Coast Scholarships
By 2030, California will have 11.5 percent fewer doctors than needed.
The Central Coast and Central Valley will face an 18.7 percent shortfall in primary care doctors, the most severe gap in the state.
"As an immigrant, first-generation, and low-income student of color, this scholarship allows me to not worry about the cost of my education. I am filled with extreme gratitude and humility to have the privilege of pursuing my dreams and the honor of being surrounded by amazing mentors and peers. I aspire to pay it forward to the next generation and beyond!"
— Bo James Hwang, Student

"As a Central Valley native and in my former role as CEO of MiMentor, I was proud to help establish a partnership between MiMentor and the UC Santa Cruz Premed Postbacc program. This postbacc has become an essential resource for our MiMentor community, particularly for students from underserved areas like Central California. It ensures that students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, who might not otherwise have access to such programs, can take this crucial step toward medical school. By supporting these scholarships, you are directly helping shape the next generation of diverse healthcare professionals, who will work to reduce health disparities in underserved communities."
