FRANK M. MANGINI, M.S.E.E., M.B.A., PMP®, PMI-ACP®, CSP, has over 25 years’ experience in project management and product development and served as the director of programs for ARGOSystems/Boeing Electronic Defense Systems. As senior programs manager and director of programs, he led multi-year efforts to develop and produce shipboard and submarine electronic detection and protection systems for domestic and international naval forces. He has also been involved in commercial consulting and startup enterprises including the development and production of online sports training systems. Mangini is a lifetime member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He has also been a member of Toastmasters International since 2006 and has achieved the competence levels of Advanced Communicator Bronze and Advanced Leader Bronze. He has taught project management courses for the UCSC Extension since 2002. His special interests are project risk management, critical chain project management and Agile-Lean development projects. He currently serves as chair of the Project and Program Management Certificate Program Advisory Board for UCSC Extension.
