GARY WALLICHS, BSCE, a senior principal engineer and FPGA product architect at Intel Corp, has more than 23 years of industry experience in FPGA/ASIC architecture and design, board-level design, and system validation. He has worked extensively with high-speed transceiver-based I/O technologies and related industry standard protocols, including PCI Express, Compute Express Link, and ethernet. Wallichs earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University.
