PRAJAKTA BADHE is a manager of Product Security at Origami Risk, a provider of cloud-based solutions for risk, insurance, compliance, and P&C management. She has over 15 years of experience including seven that focused on guiding cybersecurity teams and driving initiatives. She is dedicated to crafting tailored security programs that adapt to the dynamic threat landscape and meet the evolving needs of businesses, all while maintaining a pragmatic approach. Before working in cybersecurity, she worked in quality assurance for 10 years testing web applications, mobile applications, and the backend that supports it. She worked on various QA testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and release activities and was responsible for validating the readiness of software for deployment. This includes conducting regression testing, ensuring backward compatibility, and collaborating with development and operations teams to facilitate smooth and error-free releases. She earned a master’s degree in Engineering in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance from The George Washington University, along with certifications in Mobile Device Security and Ethical Hacking, and a certificate in Software Quality and Assurance from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension.
