How to think like an educational therapist

Dyslexia, ADHD, autism, dyscalculia—one in five students in the United States has a learning challenge, and most of them are in the general education classroom.  How do you support their needs and meet the needs of the rest of your students without going crazy?

Join board-certified educational therapist Diana Black Kennedy, MA, BCET, to explore the most common learning differences and learn practical, doable ways to tweak your current classroom practices to help all your students to achieve their full potential.

Walk away with techniques and games you can use Monday morning, and learn about other training to support your professional growth, available through UCSC Extension.

Topics

    •    The neuroanatomy of learning
    •    The Big Four learning challenges
    •    What students need
    •    Adding back joy
