Full Time Certificate Programs

What is a certificate?

Our full-time professional certificates provide a recognized credential that combines academic theory with practical knowledge, making them directly applicable to a professional career. Certificates provide concentrated study of the latest skills and best industry practices in less time and at a lower cost than a traditional degree program.

Short Programs

What is a short program?

In a short program, students complete 12 units in a high-demand business or technology field in one quarter and earn a digital badge. They focus on gaining specific key practical skills for their resume in a fast-paced, interactive learning environment.

Open Campus @ UC Santa Cruz

What is Open Campus?

Open Campus offers students a unique opportunity to take courses on the coastal campus of UC Santa Cruz. Just 35 miles south of the Silicon Valley campus, students are able to fully participate in UCSC courses without matriculating through the traditional admissions process.

Don't forget

Student visas

Students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States must obtain an F-1 visa to attend our full-time programs. Learn more about our visa requirements (Link to new visa page COMING SOON.)

Student emails and communication

Please ensure that, as the agent, you are not creating a new student email address. We require students to have their own email addresses and to communicate with our office any requests and payments of fees for their associated student account.

International student housing

We recommend several housing options, including private and shared apartments, houses, and homestays. Final arrangements are made directly between the student and the housing provider. Download our Silicon Valley Housing Guide for more information.
